The 2017 Tennessee Leadership PE Program will be offered again starting in January to help firms sharpen the skills of both high potential engineering leaders and current mid-level and senior leaders. The Business Practices Committee is finalizing session details, however, applications are now being accepted. To provide a quality experience, enrollment is limited.

The program is designed as competency based leadership program. The competencies included in this customized program include: self-knowledge, building effective teams, delegation, presentation skills, conflict management, political savvy, business acumen and interpersonal savvy. The program participants will gain leadership skills while networking with members from other A/E firms, industries, and Federal and State government agencies.
The TENNESSEE LEADERSHIP PE program will include an orientation in January and five additional monthly sessions held in locations across the State. Each session will be 1.5 days with the exception of the orientation session which will be two full days. The sessions will be facilitated by representatives of Partnering Agencies who include the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Valley Authority, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville and Memphis Districts. Sessions will typically include educational topics, team building activities, networking opportunities, and a tour of a Partner Agency facility.
